Outkast's Nike Collab With Georgia Football Reportedly Sells Out Its Biggest Pieces on Day One

The South still got something to say, and apparently it sells. Nike, the University of Georgia and Outkast dropped a football collection with Class Trip on Tuesday, and the top pieces, including a $1,200 red wool varsity jacket, reportedly sold out the same day, according to HotNewHipHop.
Nike says the idea came from Andre 3000 telling Class Trip founder Brian Francis about road trips to Athens to watch the Dawgs. The logo puts Outkast's crown on the Georgia G, and the jerseys carry "Outkast 1996" and the number 96, a nod to the year "ATLiens" came out, per Nike's announcement.

The full lineup hits Nike.com and select stores today, Oct. 28, with a pop-up at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday. That is when Georgia plays Florida in Atlanta for the first time in the rivalry's history, and Bulldogs players will wear Outkast graphics on the field.
