Cardi B Reportedly Drops $2.85 Million on an Ultra-Rare Pink 'Barbie' Rolex

Cardi B said she earned it, and she reportedly paid for it herself. The Bronx rapper showed off a pink gem-set Rolex Daytona, the piece collectors call the "Barbie," in an Instagram video last Thursday, calling it a birthday gift from herself to herself.

Her jeweler, Eric Mavani, reportedly told her only about 10 of the watches exist and hers was the only one he could find for sale. Billboard reports he then posted two wire transfers on his Instagram Stories adding up to $2.85 million. Rolex has not commented on the price or how many were made.

Cardi reportedly made a point of saying she wanted a factory piece authenticated by Rolex, not an aftermarket build. Per Complex, she also picked up a custom 7-carat diamond ring and a pink Hermes Mini Kelly, putting her birthday haul at roughly $4 million by her own estimate.

She turned 34 on Oct. 11.
