Blueface Claims a $1 Million Payday From 90 Days of Streaming, Shouts Out DDG

The 'Thotiana' rapper says Kick paid him seven figures in three months and credits DDG for the setup. Kick has not confirmed the number.

"I made a million dollars in ninety days off streaming. One hundred percent, that's all factual." That is Blueface's claim, made on a Kick livestream early Sunday, Nov. 1, per Complex. And he made sure to say who got him there: "Shout out to DDG for introducing me to streaming, getting me all this equipment for streaming. We'll never forget where we came from."

Then he flexed a little harder: "I'm just kind of that guy, you know? Favor isn't fair, so they say."

What the numbers actually show

The $1 million figure is Blueface's word. Kick has not published a payout and no revenue breakdown has surfaced, so treat it as his claim for now. What can be checked is the audience: Streams Charts data cited by Complex shows his hours watched jumping from about 102,000 in Q2 to roughly 5.42 million in Q3 2026, a gain of more than 5,000%. Nearly 96% of that came from Just Chatting and IRL streams.

Kick says creators keep 95% of subscription and tip revenue, so a $5 sub puts $4.75 in the streamer's pocket. That makes a big audience pay fast, but it does not prove any single creator's take-home.

DDG's blueprint

According to HotNewHipHop, Blue said DDG bought his streaming setup to keep him out of trouble. DDG has been preaching this for a while. At ComplexCon 2025 he said he made what his record deal paid him in 30 days on Twitch and that "streamers make more than rappers, a hundred percent." The two have also been billed together on tour, per AllHipHop.

The money has come with chaos. As iHeartRadio noted, Blueface has reportedly been swatted at least four times since he started streaming, and he was arrested a few weeks ago for allegedly ignoring officers' commands after a call police later said was fake.
